3 Easy Ways to Fix STOP CODE

The Windows 10 update of May 2020 also causes a restart error with an error on the blue screen. A common error in the termination code – SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION – is one of them.

While this may be due to incompatible drivers for different applications or applications, please read the source code documentation:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14238/windows-10-troubleshoot-blue-screen-errors.

In most cases, this BSOD bug in Windows 10 is self-mitigating because it will be repaired in the 20H2 and May 2020 updates. However, if this does not happen and it ends up in the recycling stream, the necessary measures should be taken to remedy the situation.

Case study 1

In 2017, a participant in the Microsoft forum was confronted with a typical problem -.

I installed a new printer a few months ago and it worked without any problem. …I removed everything from this printer, but I still have the same problem.

I’m getting a blue screen with a message:

Stop code: Exclusion of a service from the system.

Same message every time.

Solution

Unfortunately, this error was not caused by a problem with the PRINTER. A Microsoft agent has examined the system’s MINIDUMP files downloaded to OneDrive.

The reason was a conflict between the pilots of Avast and Malwarebytes. The 2015 process for anti-malware software (mbam.exe) seems to crash the new Avast drivers.

Removes the old version of the malware. The STOP CODE error on the blue screen has disappeared. This was a case of driver compatibility between two applications.

Case study 2

In November 2019 another forum user got the same error with a specific error code.

Hi, I’ve got the blue screen with the stop code: Excluded from system services when trying to update Windows 10 in 1909. When I click on Check for Updates, I get the error code 0080005.

Then he upgraded his PC to Windows 10 1909.

Solution

In this case, the author was also Avast’s driver. It has also corrupted Windows Defender files.

The only possible solution for the user was therefore to reinstall and update the operating system. Leave the antivirus function on by default. It worked for him.

Case study 3

In April 2019 this was a typical FSOD error.

I recently had a BSOD with a System_Service_Exception stop code.

… has since performed a virus or malware scan on MalwareBytes (nothing found) and has also used PowerShell’s System File Checker utility (no abnormalities either).

I also included the information files on minidepots and systems. Here are the links:

Solution

For error analysis, the error log is MINIDUMP. The Microsoft agent analyzed the dump files and concluded that ntkrnlmp.exe is the cause of the error.

It’s because of an outdated driver. The solution was to update the Intel drivers installed on the PC using the Intel Driver & Support Assistant tool.

Troubleshooting

Normal shutdown error codes can be corrected with this manual. Step-by-step questions are also asked. Based on your answers, he will make the right decision.

  1. When did you make a mistake?

a. After installing update b. While using my device

When I chose option b), the following solutions were proposed to me.

It is clear that an error may occur on the blue screen for a number of reasons. It’s a bit difficult to find the exact cause. The probable cause is the installation of a new hardware error or third-party software that is not compatible with your Windows 10 device.

Method 1: Removal of third-party software

If you recently installed a third-party application or program from Microsoft Store, try uninstalling it. Since you are currently unable to login to your Windows 10 system, you will need to switch to secure mode.

Installation brackets can be used for this purpose. In the Windows recovery environment (WinRE), you can do the following.

Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart

After starting the computer, press option 5 or F5. So you are in secure mode with the network.

Once you are logged in, you can access the Windows settings by pressing the Win + I key combination.

Then Apps > Apps and functions (from update 20H2).

On the right, sort the requests according to the installation date. Then delete the most recently installed applications or applications that may have caused the SYSTEM SERVICE BLUE screen error.

You can then open msconfig with the key combination Gain + R. Go to the Boot tab and uncheck the Secure Boot box. Now restart the computer. When the error disappears, you can use your system as before.

Otherwise, follow these steps.

Method 2: Deactivating, browsing or removing incompatible conductors

When you connect USB hardware, Wi-Fi network adapters, sound cards, etc. to your Windows 10 system, it automatically receives the appropriate drivers from Microsoft or the manufacturer.

If you see a yellow warning icon for a driver, it means that the driver has not been installed correctly. In this case, you can open the Device Manager from the traditional control panel. If not, type a few letters in the search box and it should open.

Now right-click on the damaged or problematic conductor and make the necessary changes.

You can switch to another driver, rewind, or completely disable or uninstall the driver. Then restart to see if the BSOD error has disappeared or not.

If this solution does not work, you can proceed to the next solution.

Method No 3: Removing last connected hardware

Normally, your computer registers when you use a Microsoft account. All connected devices are taken into account. However, if you connect new hardware when rebooting, the system may not recognize the new device.

In this case, keep the existing equipment and remove the new equipment. Then restart to see if the problem is solved.

You can also disconnect all connected USB sticks and hard disks, as well as memory and other hardware. Then reconnect them. If there is a problem with the power supply, the problem will also be solved.

When an SSD or hard drive is disconnected, the computer checks the drive for errors. This can also be used to set the STOP CODE described above.
