1. Totalisation period :

The McAfee competition from Most Famous Online Research to Most Dangerous 2020 MDC starts at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PDT) 10/6/20 and ends at 5:00 p.m. PDT 10/25/20 (competition period). The competition manager’s computer will be the official timekeeper.

1. Suitability :

Eligible persons are legal residents of the United States, with the exception of residents of Florida, New York and Rhode Island who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry into the country. Employees of McAfee, LLC and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, prize, advertising and promotional suppliers, their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings and their spouse), and persons living in the same household as these employees are not eligible to enter the Competition.

1. Winner selection / advertising :

There will be a great prizewinner. The winner will be randomly selected from the last group of participants (commentators) in the accompanying social lottery. Any person who responds to one of the lottery announcements within the time limit set for the draw will be entered into the prize pool. Limited to one (1) price per person and per family. By entering the contest, entrants acknowledge McAfee’s Privacy Statement and agree to the official rules and decisions of the lottery sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. The odds of winning depend on the total number of offers received.

1. Price notification :

The winner of the prize will be notified within one week after 26.10.20 hours. The winner must sign an Affidavit or Admission and Release/Publicity (if permitted by law), which must be returned within (4) days of written notification or the prize may be forfeited. If the prize notification is returned to the prospective winner as unclaimed or undeliverable, if the prospective winner cannot be contacted within four (4) calendar days of the initial notification attempt, or if the prospective winner is unable to return the required document within the stated time, or if the prospective winner fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited. The sponsor is not responsible for changing the email address, postal address and/or telephone number of the participants.  The Sponsor reserves the right to choose an alternative winner if the first one does not claim their prize.

If a prize or part of a prize cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value. The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes and all other fees or expenses related to the prizes received, whether used in whole or in part. As the value of the prize exceeds $600, the winner will receive a W-9 form that must be completed and returned before receiving the prize. The lottery sponsor must be registered before the 31st. A copy of the MISC 1099 form must be postmarked no later than 1 January of the year following the year in which the winner won the prize.

1. Internet / limitations of liability :

The Sponsor and other parties are not responsible for any interruption or unavailability of the network server or other connections, communication errors, errors in telephone or computer transmissions, or incorrect, encrypted or misdirected input or transmission; for any failure, malfunction, interruption or difficulty with telephone, power, network, hardware or software; for any other error, omission, interruption or deletion of any kind, whether human, typographical, mechanical or electronic; or for any damage to a person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in the Contest. Sponsor and the other parties are not responsible for the illegibility, delay, loss or theft of any submissions not received, for any incorrect or inaccurate submissions, whether caused by users of the Website or by any material or software related to or used in the Price List, or for any typographical, technical or human error that may occur in the processing of any entries in the Price List. EACH ENTRANT AGREES THAT ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS CONTEST OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, without any form of collective action and only by the United States District Court of America for the District of Delaware or by the competent state court in Dov of Wilmington, Delaware, this FORMER REGULATION is hereby terminated by the laws of the state of law, WITHOUT PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE CHOICE OF LEGISLATION OR CONFLICATION OF RIGHTS.  WAIVE ANY OBJECTION TO THE JURISDICTION AND VENUE OF THOSE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMIT TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS.
