According to GTPlanet who was at the event the game is confirmed to be a PS3 game and that it will be released on this year’s “Holiday”, It was also mentioned that the game features a new engine that allows new phsics model, new aerodynamics system and a new suspension model. Gran Turismo 6 is confirmed as a PS3 game and will release ‘Holiday’ 2013. No specific date was given.
The code of the game has been refactored from Gran Turismo 5 and features a new and improved engine, intended to be flexible enough to expand the system.
Gran Turismo 6 will use adaptive tessalation, which will mean the likes of individual leaves being rendered on the track.
Gran Turismo 6 will feature a new physics model, new aerodynamics systems and new tyre and suspension models.
This ties into the leaked news that a new partnership with syspension and tyre manufacturers, who have helped created Gran Turismo 6′s new systems.
According to GTPlanet, the physics and syspension systems means cars can move much more realistically, especially through corners.
Players can ‘create their own personalised cars’, though it isn’t mentioned how.
